 This is Fluffy. Don't ask. Nolan named her.

Nolan is four and thinks Fluffy is a great name.

I have learned to never argue with a 4 year old.

 This is Kenna's puppy to help raise.

And yes, this puppy has a house name. I forgot what it is.

Oops. So for right now, it's Kenna's puppy.

 This is Kathryn with "Lupita". We think it sounds

like "little wolf". So if you use your imagination

(and you're a tween girl who loves fantasy stories)

then a black, curly "little wolf" works. Right?

 This is Allison and Brooke with "Little Bit".

She's the smallest female, all black and just a sweetheart.

But she stands her ground as needed with her burly brothers.

That's my kind of girl!

 This is Casey with Sleepy Poppy. This puppy makes "laid back" seem like a busy phrase.

Sweet. Easy going. Loves to cuddle. Great at ignoring the antics of the others.

 Cole is snuggling Tiny Storm. I'm not sure where the name came from. It doesn't matter. It's a GREAT NAME and he's stickin' to it.

And last but not least is "Charlie". My friend Kyle claimed naming rights to the first-born male.

Maybe there's some royal blood there? 

Whatever!

Charlie is a sweetheart and has a tiny white star at the base of his neck.

Just started weaning them, and they're loving Purina One!  :)  Mixed with a little somethin'-somethin', of course!

We'll start taking deposits this week. Pups are scheduled for their vet-check on June 8th and will be available for pick-up after that.

This was a winter Doodle puppy from 2009....

She climbed up a snowbank, onto the big ol' pigpot I use for begonias...

And then re-thought her choices, LOL!

Libby is due to have her puppies any day!  Please pray for a safe and happy delivery.

Doodles On The Way!!!!

 These are six-week old baby Doodles, a low-shed or no-shed

cross between Mick (Hearthside's McDreamy) and Libby (Hearthside's Lady Liberty)

Aren't they adorable???

Libby is showing signs of real, true-life pregnancy, not that false pregnancy stuff dogs like to do.


Expected date of arrival:   May 6-9th.


Puppies will be available:  June 20th or thereabouts, once they've been vet-checked. 


We'll keep everyone posted as things progress.


Maddie is showing early signs of going into heat... Right on schedule. We'll keep you updated here (if you don't think it's TOO WEIRD to be checking on a dog's love life...) and let you know what happens.
